Some machines, not just the Urban series, are not meant for specific working conditions. For example, a noisy piece of equipment may not be allowed in areas with noise restrictions. With the eUrban Soldier, noise restraints are not a factor. This machine offers nearly silent operation, making it perfect for residential areas. This also offers the possibility of using this machine at night or indoors.
When adapting a machine for a new fuel source, the possibility of losing features can be a source of concern. The gasoline version offers the same performance as the electric version of the machine, ensuring no loss of power. The elimination of the fueling cost is possible through the utilization of three lithium-ion batteries. The batteries can power 8 to 10 full tanks of water per charge (subject to operating conditions) with a charge time of 6-10 hours depending on voltage.
Cost savings go beyond saving on fuel. Due to the easy-to-maintain design of the Urban Series machines, maintenance costs are kept to a minimum.
Compact Design with Ultimate Precision Control
One of the standout features of the eUrban Soldier is its compact footprint. While slightly smaller than the traditional Urban Soldier, it’s designed to fit inside a standard medium-sized van, such as a Ford Transit. The unit can be installed into most commercial vehicles weighing 3.5 tons and up.
The eUrban Soldier uses an upgraded remote control with a built in LCD display for easy operation. This screen displays features such as pressure, flow, water level and battery level. In addition to the remote, there is a small LED screen located on the machine's front panel. This is the battery management system which provides information on battery temperature and charging status.
The eUrban Soldier also includes:
- 262’ of ½” hose
- 115’ of ¾” filling hose
- A 180-degree pivoting high-pressure reel with electric locking mechanism
- A 105-gallon water tank, with an optional second tank for increased capacity
Safety features include:
- Red protective covers over moving parts
- Run-dry protection
- Emergency stop via remote
