Greenwize Plumbing has been in business just over three years. Most small businesses struggle in their first years, but Greenwize has seen growth and increased profits every year.
David Allen Meyers, Master Plumber and Owner of Greenwize Plumbing, and his right-hand man, Steven David Windham, attribute their success to hard work, dedication, honesty, and reliability. Meyers tells us they’ve never had to advertise or pay for a lead – all their growth is word of mouth. “We had to eat a lot of crow and do things to keep the customer happy, but they always call us back,” he told us.

David Allen Meyers, Master Plumber and Owner of Greenwize Plumbing, and his right-hand man, Steven David Windham, attribute their success to hard work, dedication, honesty, and reliability. Meyers tells us they’ve never had to advertise or pay for a lead – all their growth is word of mouth. “We had to eat a lot of crow and do things to keep the customer happy, but they always call us back,” he told us.
Meyers started out as an apprentice plumber building hospitals and doing a lot of commercial work. He did a little residential work, but realized he loved commercial work. He was a journeyman for 25 years, and got his Master Plumber’s license ten years ago. Three years ago, he decided to strike out on his own and opened Greenwize Plumbing.
Greenwize credits their Spartan Tool equipment with helping them stay dependable. They own a Model 1065, Model 100, Model 700, a Traveler inspection camera, and a Locator. Meyers highly recommends Spartan equipment, saying, “The right tools are key to getting the job done.”
In one case, they were called out to a root intrusion that another plumber couldn’t clear. Their Model 1065 was able to get the job done, leaving a very satisfied customer. We’ll let Meyers sum it up: “Go with the best equipment, go with Spartan.”
Greenwize Plumbing has had steady growth and success, and they’re looking forward to more in the future. “We’re just going to keep growing, and stay healthy,” says Meyers. He just wants to keep his health and continue getting up every morning to do the job he loves.
